Create Your FSA ID

• If you are going to file a FAFSA, you must first have a FSA ID. Click here for the FSA website where you may create one.
• If you are considered a dependent student, your parent or guardian will also need to create an FSA ID to sign your FAFSA.
• Please remember to use an email address you have access to, as you will be emailed a code to complete the registration of your FSA ID. If a parent is also creating an FSA ID for their dependent student, they must have a separate email address from the student.

File Your FAFSA

Click here to be taken to the FAFSA website. When asked to log in, chose to use your FSA ID (if you are a dependent student, remember to log in as the student, your parent/guardian will only use their FSA ID at the very end to sign the completed FAFSA).

By completing your FAFSA, we can determine your financial need. This will allow the financial aid office to create an award package for your individual educational need.

If you are given the option of transferring your income tax information (and your parent’s if you are a dependent student) from the IRS website, do so. Use the EXACT address on your 1040 form. This will save time on both the student’s and school’s part if your application is flagged for verification.

Contact us for your results

After three days, the Buckeye Hills Financial Aid Department will receive the results from your FAFSA. The student must contact the school for these results. It is the student’s responsibility to follow up with the school as to award amounts. The Financial Aid Department can be reached at: 740-245-5334 Ext 324.
