Online Student Loan Completion
Step 1: Direct Loan Entrance Counseling
- mappingyourfuture.org
- Click on the “Complete Online Counseling” link on the left.
- Click on the “Direct Loan Entrance” link. (Make certain you are completing Entrance counseling, not Exit counseling at this time).
- Complete the steps to select your school (Gallia Jackson Vinton JVSD), read the content and answer the questions, and complete the student form.
- The financial aid office will receive a confirmation email that you completed your loan entrance counseling. Please print a copy of the completed confirmation page for your own record.
Step 2: Complete Master Promissory Note
- Go to: studentloans.gov
- Sign in with your FSA ID
- Find the UNDERGRAD tab
- Click on the link that says: Undergrad/Sub/Unsub Master Promissory Note
- Our school will be: Gallia Jackson Vinton JVS or code 014071.
- Complete and read the entire document. Make sure you are scrolling through each box. Sign the last page by typing your name in the provided spaces. Submit this information and print the confirmation page for your own personal record. The financial aid office does NOT need a copy of this information.
