The program prepares the student in basic nursing skills necessary to deliver care in a variety of healthcare settings.
Clinicals are held off site and includes some evening and weekends. Students are responsible for transportation.
At completion of the program, the student will be eligible to sit for the NCLEX-PN licensure exam.

Enrollment starts in March and continues through July. Submit high school transcript or GED, enroll in the Adult Resource Center for WorkKeys test review (no fee), register for and attend a session on Introduction to Health Career (no fee), pay registration fee, and complete requirements for the Work Keys test. After successful completion, submit an application, submit three personal references, interview with the Coordinator and/or faculty member, and complete an eight-hour job shadow.
