    Program Description

    Trains individuals to work on an ambulance operated by emergency medical services and fire departments.

    Includes:

    • Textbook
    • Workbook
    • Review of possible test questions
    • National Registry test (3 hours)
    • Includes CPR & emergency room/ squad observation time

    Credential Potential

    ODPS Accreditation: #OH Div. EMS 114. Must pass State certification exam before certificate is issued.

    Admission

    Call for schedule. WorkKeys testing is a pre-requisite. Submit a high school transcript or GED results. Must be in good physical condition and be able to perform all practical skills as required. Students should undergo a physical examination prior to starting class. Students must pass a drug screen and BCI/FBI background check. Submit documentation of IS-100b and IS-700a training.
