Classroom and practical learning experiences train students in basic manipulative skills and related technical knowledge, safety, proper work habits and the desirable attitudes necessary to obtain an Ohio Cosmetologist license and for competency entry position in the cosmetology or related career field.
The course includes training in the following areas:
Upon successful completion of the 1500 hour program, an individual may sit for the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology Licensing Examination.

Admission process starts in March and continues until class is filled with approved applicants (see admissions page). WorkKeys testing is required and will be scheduled by the school but will not prohibit enrollment. Those without a HSD or GED must have a 10th grade education and acceptable WorkKeys scores, but will not be eligible for financial aid.
