During this unique
program, instruction is focused on Child Care in the Center-based setting.
 Students
will learn about growth and development of preschool age children and will
study care/nursery school operations.
Students
will acquire additional skills in institutional housekeeping and commercial
food
preparation as related to
the
Child Care industry.
A successful
completer will be eligible to participate in the Child Development Associate
(CDA) Assessment for National Credentialing by the Council for Early
Childhood Professional Recognition, as well as articulation with the
Associate.
