The Auto Collision Technology class at Buckeye Hills Career Center recently received a $2500.00 grant from Dynegy Inc.  The grant money was used to purchase protective welding equipment and a welder.  The ACT program purchased seven auto-darkening welding hoods, nine protective welding screens, two welder caps, and one mig welder.  Mr. Powell and the class plan to use the equipment to give demonstrations to the public and in their lab.
