FRONT ROW: Ashly Marcum, Brittany Gilbert, Beth Sprouse, Tempa Grabans, Amanda Henderson, and Hannah Leach.               The Buckeye Hills Chapter of SkillsUSA collected food to be donated for Christmas food boxes for the Gallia County Outreach.  This was a continuation of a project that the students had been working on since before Thanksgiving.  The American Spirit team which consists of Amanda Henderson, Sean Maynard, Hanna Leach, and Tempa Grabans, planned and organized this project through meetings which were held at the school.                    The students pledged to raise 150 packages of instant mashed potatoes and 150 desserts.  They were able to meet their goal and help the Outreach with their quota of 150 holiday food boxes.  Twelve students and two advisors went to the center on December 18, 2007 to deliver the food and prepare the boxes for pick-up.                   The Buckeye Hills Chapter of SkillsUSA is grateful for the opportunity to help their community and would like to thank the Gallia County Outreach Center for their continued support of our community and our chapter.
