I.V. Therapy for the Licensed Practical Nurse will be offered beginning Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Buckeye Hills Career Center. This course is designed for the Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse.
Students will learn about the principles and practices, equipment, infusion calculation rates, Phillips 15 step approach, management guidelines and preventative measures for I.V. Therapy. Interested students must have a successful completion of a board approved course in medication administration.
The course consists of 42 hours of theory/lab and 8 hours of clinical experience. Tuition for the class is $500.00 plus $40 for other fees. Registration deadline is October 22, 2007.
