Welding:

This program will expose students to the exciting world of welding. The course is designed to upgrade welding knowledge or allow the student to learn basic welding skills(Mig & Tig). During the 600 hour course, students will discover the following topics: Safety, Flame Cutting, Blueprint Reading, Metallurgy, Plasma, Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Structural Shapes, Flat, Horizontal and Vertical Welding, Braze and Solder, and Measurements. AWS $3900 600 hours: Mon Tues. Wed. Thur. 4-9 p.m: Starts: Aug 27. Class dates and times will vary. Requires OCAPS/Work Keys Testing. Note: Entry may occur at any time during the school year.
