Prepare students to take the EPA certification tests, Section 608, for
recovery of Freon in stationary units. Universal certification is granted
upon successful completion of the following: Environmental impact of CFCs
and HCFC's law and regulations, and changing industry outlooks, Type I:
Small appliance, Type II: High pressure/very high pressure, Type III: Low
pressure. Individuals test may be taken, however, the core section is a
prerequisite to any certification.
