GED Test

General Education Development certification of High School Equivalency

The GED test costs $55.00, which can be waived, allowing the candidate to take the GED test for free.  The testing fee can be waived if:

• You have never used the fee waiver before

• You take and pass a practice GED test

• You are a resident of the State of Ohio

The practice GED test can be taken at any Gallia-Jackson-Vinton JVSD ABLE/GED Center.  We will supply the fee waiver form and the GED test application form.

The following regulations will apply for the GED tests:

• No Instant registration on the day of testing

• Registration form available on-line

• Pre-registration required at Buckeye Hills Monday - Friday (1 PM - 4 PM)

• Calculators can be used on Part I of the math test

NOTE:  Positive picture identification required at pre-registration and on day of testing (Ohio Drivers License, Passport and/or ID Card issued by the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles).
