The
Cosmetology course is licensed by the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology
and enables a successful completer to take the licensing board
examination to be a cosmetologist.
Each student
will be required to attempt the State Board testing in order to receive
a vocational certificate.
Licensing opens the door for a lifetime career in one of the nations
largest skilled occupations.
Accreditation:
The Gallia-Jackson-Vinton JVSD is approved and operates in
cooperation with the Career-Technical and Adult Education
Division of the Ohio Department of Education. In addition,
the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools has
granted accreditation.
