Precision Machining Technology
 Students selecting this program
will develop competencies in job planning, bench work and layout of
machine operations. Opportunities will be available to become
proficient in operating lathes / turning machines, milling /
grinding / drilling machines, and power saws.
During the second year of the program, students will develop skills
in operating computer numerical control (CNC) lathes, turning
centers and milling machines. The National Institute of Metalworking
Skills (NIMS) offers certification of students passing the
examination.
